  • Bid: McElmo Flume Wood Restoration Project

  • The Montezuma County Road Department is in the process of applying chip seal to the following roads, in the following order:
    • USFS Road 561 (Road 42) 5 miles
    • Road 23, from Road L to Road N
    • Road 22, from Road P to Road L
    • Road N, from Road 22 to Road 21
    • Road L, from Road 22 to Road 23
    • Road CC, from end of pavement to Road 10, south to Road BB

    There is no fixed timetable to accomplish each portion of the chip seal.  Work on Road 23 is expected to commence on Tuesday, August 22, and as each section is completed, they will move to the next road listed above.

      When reading the bleach dilution amounts on the brochure, please note that there are different concentrations of bleach available at the store. Most name brands of bleach have instructions on the bottle for hantavirus cleanup
