Child Support Awareness Month :
https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/cdhs/news/august-child-support-awareness-month.

Here is some data to consider:

• Children who receive financial support from both parents do better academically;
• Children who have a relationship with both parents meet developmental milestones more timely;
• When a young child’s family experiences an income increase of $250 a month, not only does it help their family now, but the child grows up to earn about 17% more as an adult; and,
• Child support makes up approximately 41% of a family’s income – we are truly a cornerstone to ensuring stability in the lives of children.
