Get Flood Ready Elevation Certificates
It has come to Montezuma County’s attention that many homeowner’s insurance companies have sent notices requiring a floodplain elevation certificate. Montezuma County does not create elevation certificates. Elevation certificates can only be produced by a licensed Surveyor, Engineer, or Architect and require a professional stamp. Montezuma County Road and Bridge: County Road N will be closed between Roads 21 and 22 beginning May 30 for the replacement of the Alkali Creek bridge.
