Program Manager – Environmental Health
Montezuma County Public Health Department is accepting applications for an Environmental Health Program Manager. This is a full time 40 hour/week position with benefits.
Must enjoy multi-tasking with the ability to be flexible with the task at hand. Good interpersonal and communication skills with writing, phone skills and speaking to the public. Position will be responsible for conducting regulatory inspections and educational services to enforce Colorado state law and regulations that apply to environmental and public health factors that impact retail food establishments, child care centers, schools, correctional facilities, public accommodations, summer camps and onsite waste water systems. Investigation and follow up for any other environmental health duties as assigned or required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in a biological, physical or health science, environmental health, education or engineering. Employment experience in retail food or another similar field may be considered. Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license. Salary range $23.00-$28.00/hour.
