Montezuma County Department of Social Services, located in beautiful Southwestern Colorado and close to the 4 Corners where Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico meet is looking for an energetic, outgoing person to fill their Foster Care Coordinator position.   The person who fills this position will be recruiting, assessing, evaluating, and recommending new Foster Care Homes.   The Foster Care Coordinator will be responsible for monthly home visits with foster home families and will report on the children’s well-being and will work with the foster homes to find temporary living arrangements for children if necessary.  The Foster Care Coordinator will work with other caseworkers, attorneys, courts, and social services departments to provide care and achieve the agency’s objectives.
