In accordance with provisions of 1-5-205 (1)(a-d), C.R.S., notice is hereby given that the STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION will be held in Montezuma County, Colorado, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. This election will be by mail ballot in accordance with provisions of 1-7.5-104. The Vote Service Polling Centers will be at the Montezuma County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 140 W. Main St., Ste. 1 Cortez, CO 81321. Open October 24, 2022, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Election Day 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Additional Vote Service Polling Centers, Open Election Day 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dolores Public Library, 1002 Railroad Ave, Dolores, CO 81323, the Mancos Public Library 211 W. 1st St. Mancos, CO 81328, and the Ute Mountain Ute Community Center, 485 Sunset Blvd. Towaoc, CO 81334 Open Monday November 7, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Election Day 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
There are 24-hour ballot drop boxes, located in the parking lot at the Montezuma County Clerk’s Office 140 W. Main St., Ste. 1 Cortez, CO 81321. Dolores Town Hall, 420 Central Ave, Dolores CO 81323. Mancos Town Hall, 117 N Main St Mancos, CO 81328. The Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Headquarters, 124 Mike Wash Road Towaoc, CO., 81334 the Cortez City Hall, 123 Roger Smith Ave. Cortez CO. 81321, and Cox Corners, 18794 Hwy. 491 Cortez, CO 81321. They will be available for ballot drop off from October 17, 2022 until November 8, 2022. All ballots must be returned by 7:00 P.M. on the day of election.
