WIC Educator

Montezuma County Public Health Department is accepting applications for a part time 25-29 hours/week  WIC Educator. 

Applicants must enjoy working with families and children, have good organization skills and good phone skills. Includes educating families following WIC guidelines on nutrition and developing a plan of care after completion of the WIC Certification Program within the timeline defined. Being a good team player with the ability to self-motivate. This position also entails becoming a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. Training will be provided; must pass certification after training. More information about CPST at cert.safekids.org.  Bilingual a plus. High school diploma or GED required. Salary $22/hour, $33,176.00 (@29 hours weekly)/year.
