Replacement ballot packet for Montezuma-Cortez School District RE-1 Precinct D Voters

Due to a ballot layout error, the ballots originally mailed to Montezuma County voters in RE-1 School District Precinct D did not include Montezuma-Cortez School District RE-1 Ballot Issue 4-B. We will be mailing out a replacement ballot packet that will contain the omitted ballot measure and the other races and measures that RE-1 School District Precinct D voters are eligible to vote.

• If you have not returned your original ballot: Please rip the original mail ballot packet in half and throw it away. Then, mark and return this corrected ballot in the return envelope enclosed with this packet.
• If you already returned your original ballot: Please also mark and return this corrected ballot in the enclosed return envelope. Be sure to sign and date the return envelope. If we receive your marked corrected ballot by 7pm on Election Day, November 5th, we will process and count only the corrected ballot. We will only process and count your original ballot if we do not receive your marked corrected ballot by 7pm on Election Day.
• We will process and count only one ballot for each voter. No voter will be permitted to vote more than once in this election.
