CSU Extension

About Us:

Montezuma County CSU Extension partners with various organizations both locally and nationally to provide programs and educational resources in various areas such as family and consumer sciences, agriculture, horticulture, natural resources, and 4-H and youth development.

Extension provides resources for information and education at local, state and national levels. Extension is part of a nationwide system built from land-grant universities. Federally extension is administered by the USDA, through the National Institute of Food and Ag. At the state level extension is ran through the Colorado State Board of Ag. through Colorado State University. It is through these partnerships that we are able to provide a wide range of services to our local communities.  CSU Extension has offices in most counties throughout the state which individually design their programs based on the needs of the communities in which they are stationed.
