Montezuma County Public Health Department has a 40 hour full time position with benefits for a Registered Nurse/BSN required in the Nurse Family Partnership program as a Supervisor/Nurse Home Visitor. This program delivers education and support to first-time parents using an evidence-based model. Must be willing to travel for program training. Experience in public health and/or maternal-child health preferred, bilingual a plus. Application, resume and cover letter must be dropped off or mailed to 106 West North St. Cortez, CO 81321. Notice is hereby given that the Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners will attend a Dolores River National Conservation Area draft release discussion with commissioners from San Miguel and Dolores Counties, John Whitney (Senator Bennet’s Office), Amber Clark (Dolores River Boating Advocates), Jeff Widen (The Wilderness Society) and Al Heaton (rancher). The meeting will be held in the Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners meeting room on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 2:00-4:00 pm. Interested parties may attend the meeting in person or via zoom. The meeting will also be streamed on the county’s YouTube channel.
