Public Notice

Notice is hereby given that the Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners may attend a presentation regarding the Sun Bear solar project on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.  The presentation, with officials from Canigou Capital, Kiewit Construction, and the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, will provide an update to members of various local boards, as well as answer questions about construction, timelines, impacts, and benefits of the project. The presentation will be held at the Cortez Chamber of Commerce, 20 West Main Street, Cortez, at 3:00 p.m.
