A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES
IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR MONTEZUMA COUNTY ROAD AND DEPARTMENT.

Whereas, expenditures in the Road and Bridge Fund purchase of two John Deere 772 G Motor Graders unforeseen at the adoption of the 2024 budget; and

Whereas , money i s available in the Road and Bridge i n unappropriated or unrestricted funds.

Whereas a supplemental budget is needed to defray Capital related to the buyout of a maturing 2 year l ease agreement w i th Financial and,

Whereas, these additional supplemental funds are a one-time expense for buyout of a lease for Montezuma County to purchase two Graders .

NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MONTEZUMA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS , COLORADO :

Section 1. That the 2024 appropriati on for Road and Bri dge increased from $ 300 ,000 to $740,000 for an additional supplemental 440 , 000 .
