A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
MAIN STREET PROJECT IN MONTEZUMA COUNTY

WHEREAS, the grant program through the Colorado Main Street program is the Main Street Open for Business (MSOB) Facade lmprovements and Energy Efficiency Program for non-chain commercial building
owners in the Main Street District of the City of Cortez; and

WHEREAS, the County has administered grants up to a total of SL million dollars for other entities with
Economic Development/Main Street managing the grants.

WHEREAS, A 20% cash match is required of applicants. ln this case, the sub-grantees.

WHEREAS, The MSOB grant opens for submittals by applicants on August 23, 2027; and

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY OF MONTEZUMA, COLORADO as follows:

The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Montezuma strongly supports the application and will ensure matching funds for a grant from the sub-grantees.

The County will administer the grant disbursements and comply with the reporting requirements.

If the grant is awarded, the Board of County Commissioners of Montezuma County strongly supports the completion of the project.

The Board of County Commissioners authorizes the expenditure of funds necessary to meet the terms and obligations of any Grant awarded.

If the grant is awarded, the Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the County Administrator to sign the grant agreement with DOLA.

Projects will comply with all local design guidelines
