A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES
IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR MONTEZUMA COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE
DEPARTMENT.


Whereas, expenditures in the Road and Bridge Fund incurred for final expenses
of the Alkali Creek Bridge construction project unforeseen at the time of the adoption
of the 2024 budget; and


Whereas, money is available in the Road and Bridge Fund in the form of
unappropriated or unrestricted funds.


Whereas a supplemental budget is needed to defray Alkali Creek for the cost
related to completion of the Alkali Creek Bridge and,


Whereas, these additional supplemental funds are a one-time expense for the
final expenses related to the Alkali Creek Bridge project.


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MONTEZUMA COUNTY BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, COLORADO:


Section 1 . That the 2024 appropriation for Road and Bridge Alkali Creek Project
be increased from $0.00 to $520,250.00 for an additional supplemental of $520,250.


Approved and adopted this 24 th day of September2024.
