Public Comment:

ThePublic Comment portion of the agenda provides the public an opportunity tospeak to the Board of Commissioners about issues that are not on the mainagenda. Testimony relating to scheduled agenda items will not be allowed duringPublic Comment.

Rulesof decorum will be strictly enforced. Outbursts and interruptions from anyperson in the hearing room, including shouting, clapping, booing, laughing, orother reactions to the proceedings, are prohibited. Any comments from thepublic shall only be made by persons who are residents of Montezuma County, whohave been recognized by the Chair, who are speaking into the microphone, andonly after they have stated their name and address for the record.

Eachperson will have 3 minutes to comment. No speaker may yield part or all ofhis/her time to another speaker. Comments shall only be made to the Board. Nocomments or questions shall be directed to staff or other members of thepublic.

Consent Agenda:

TheConsent Agenda is intended to allow the Board to spend its time on more complexitems. These items are generally perceived as non-controversial and can beapproved by a single motion. An item may be removed from the Consent Agenda bythe Board and addressed in Items Needing Individual Consideration if deemednecessary.
