    The Planning Department will present for signatures a Mylar for a Subdivision Amendment Application for a Common Lot Line Change, to Lots 4B & 4A of the Rolling Hills Estates Subdivision submitted by Hurst Family Revocable Trust, on property located at 28250 Road H.6, Cortez, CO, consisting of 10 acres, more or less, and Sean & Cassi Rooks, on property located at 28260 Road H.6, Cortez, CO, consisting of 31.11 acres, more or less, all located north of Road H, east of Road 27, situated in Section 32, Township 36N, Range 15W, N.M.P.M.

    The Public Comment portion of the agenda provides the public an opportunity to speak to the Board of Commissioners about issues that are not on the main agenda. Testimony relating to scheduled agenda items will not be allowed during Public Comment.

    Rules of decorum will be strictly enforced. Outbursts and interruptions from any person in the hearing room, including shouting, clapping, booing, laughing, or other reactions to the proceedings, are prohibited. Any comments from the public shall only be made by persons who are residents of Montezuma County, who have been recognized by the Chair, who are speaking into the microphone, and only after they have stated their name and address for the record.

    Each person will have 3 minutes to comment. No speaker may yield part or all of his/her time to another speaker. Comments shall only be made to the Board. No comments or questions shall be directed to staff or other members of the public.

  • Consent Agenda

    The Consent Agenda is intended to allow the Board to spend its time on more complex items. These items are generally perceived as non‑controversial and can be approved by a single motion. An item may be removed from the Consent Agenda by the Board and addressed in Items Needing Individual Consideration if deemed necessary.

    • Resolution setting office hours for 2026 – Travis Anderson
    • Resolution setting Emergency Telephone Charges for 2026
    • Decision and possible signature regarding Letter of Support regarding non‑deployment BEAD Funding
    • Possible decision and Signature of MOU with the Fraternal Order of Police and BOCC
  • Item(s) Needing Individual Consideration
    • Special Event Liquor Permit, Southwestern Colorado Livestock Association – Jerri Frizzell
    • Liquor License Renewal, Love’s Travel Stop and Country Stores Inc. – Jerri Frizzell
  • Pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24‑6‑402(4)(b), the Board may move into executive session for the purpose of receiving legal advice from counsel on any item appearing before the Board on this agenda
  • County Attorney Report
  • County Administrator Reports
  • County Clerk & Recorder Report
  • Commissioners’ Reports
  • Adjourn

In addition, the Board of County Commissioners shall conduct such further business
as may come before said meeting.
