Resolution 13 – 2024

A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY EXPENSES
IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR MONTEZUMA COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE
DEPARTMENT.

Whereas , expenditures in the Road and Bridge Fund incurred during the Chip
Seal Project for expenses on Road S (Haycamp) unforeseen at the time of the
adoption of the 2024 budget; and

Whereas, money is available in the Road and Bridge Fund in the form of
unappropriated or unrestricted funds.

Whereas a supplemental budget is needed to defray Special Roads for the cost
related to completion of the Chip Seal Project on Road S (Haycamp) and ,

Whereas, these additional supplemental funds are a one-time expense for the
final expenses related to the Road S (Haycamp) Chip Seal project.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MONTEZUMA COUNTY BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS , COLORADO:

Section 1. That the 2024 appropriation for Road and Bridge Special Roads be
increased from $507 , 384 to $538 , 109.00 for an additional supplemental of $30 , 725.00
