A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CERTIFICATION OF MILLS AND LEVIES AND TAX ROLL

WHEREAS, The mills and levies for all taxing districts within Montezuma County was certified on December 21, 2021 in accordance with State Statute; and

WHEREAS, after the fact the document was found to contain data entry errors; and

WHEREAS, the document certified December 21, 2021 showed the Mancos Cemetery District was 5.1156830 mills with a total revenue of $267,959; and

WHEREAS, the corrected mills for the Mancos Cemetery District are 0.51958 with a revenue of $26,998; and

WHEREAS, the document certified December 21, 2021 showed the Mancos Library District was 8.0 mills with a revenue $421,343; and

WHEREAS, the corrected mills for the Mancos Library District are 8.1019 with a revised revenue of $427,343

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Montezuma County, Colorado, that:

The Certification of Mills and Revenues be amended to reflect these changes as attached and that copies of this resolution, the amended certification and, a cover letter explaining the issue be sent to the Property Tax Administrator, the Division of Local Government, the State School Finance Office, the County Assessor and, the County Treasurer: and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the tax roll be amended to reflect these changes.
