Public Notice- Schedule change for October 17 BOCC Workshop

Public Notice  Notice is hereby given that the Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners will not hold their regularly scheduled workshop on Monday, October 17, 2022. Instead, the Commissioners will attend the Montezuma County Regional Community Team – DOLA Roadmaps Program Debut from 10:00am to 12:00 at the Montezuma County Annex, 107 N Chestnut Street in Cortez. To be counted, mail ballots must be returned no later than 7:00 pm on Election Day, November 8, 2022.  Postmarks do NOT count. Notice is hereby given that the Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners will attend a public event to introduce community members and Montezuma County employees to Mr. Travis Anderson, the finalist for the position of County Administrator. The event will take place in the BOCC meeting room (109 W Main St., Room 250) on June 29, 2022, at 6:00pm. Mr. Anderson will have the opportunity to introduce himself and answer questions from the audience.  The audience will also have a time for public comment at the end of the event.
