PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners will attend a Dolores River National Conservation Area draft release discussion with commissioners from San Miguel and Dolores Counties, John Whitney (Senator Bennet’s Office), Amber Clark (Dolores River Boating Advocates), Jeff Widen (The Wilderness Society) and Al Heaton (rancher). The meeting will be held in the Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners meeting room on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 2:00-4:00 pm. Interested parties may attend the meeting in person or via zoom. The meeting will also be streamed on the county’s YouTube channel.

Southwest Roundtable Representative Vacancy

 

Montezuma County is seeking a volunteer to serve as a County Representative to the Southwest Basin Round Table. The Representative must be a resident of Montezuma County, at least 18 years old, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of Colorado River issues.
